If you missed our previous scholarship updates, this SBW 2024 Scholarship for International Students is what you shouldn't miss.
The SBW international student scholarship is aimed to support foreign students with exceptional talents who are interested in applying their talents and skills in social services.
The scholarship is for international students who wish to pursue either bachelor's or master's degree program at the university of science and technology in Berlin.
Application duration:
Application is available all year round.
Guidelines and criteria:
- Applicants must be between the age of 18 - 30 years,
- He or she must be an intentional student.
- Must be presently enrolled in the university or have university entrance qualifications for either undergraduate or masters degree program.
- Must have not lived in Germany more than a year and six months prior to this application.
- Applicants must not have a relative currently residing in Germany.
- Must come from a low income family background.
- Applicants are requested to show prove of social commitment through a letter of recommendation from NGOs or institutions where he/she has worked with.
Documents required:
- German student visa
- Letter of recommendation from social institutions or NGOs
- International passport
- Copies of academic transcripts/certificates
- Prove of language proficiency,
- Prove of admission to German university.
- Prove of the applicant's social commitment may be emailed to the organization in form of portable documents format (PDF) through application@sbw.berlin, after the screening, application can be granted access to the application form.
