2024 YGS delegate application is Open; find out more about it

YGS stands for Yenching Global symposium. The 2024 edition of the symposium has been opened for 100 delegates from around the world to be selected for the conference. The title of this year's symposium is "equilibrium, our world in balance"

The symposium will take place at Peking University; China. Travel costs, accomodations and other expenses will be covered.


The application was announced on 1st of January and the portal will be open till the 31st day of January, 2024.

Eligibility criteria:

Most interesting fact about this symposium is that individual from all walks of life irrespective of academic qualifications, social status and and financial status can be selected.
Below are few of the eligibility criteria that may be considered during the selection:
Must not be more than 30years by 11 April, 2024

Must have finished a Bachelor's Degree program or in the final year of his studies.
Must have good English language proficiency.
Must have not attended YGS symposium previously.
Must have high interest in China.
IELTS/TOEFL result is needed as a prove of English language proficiency if English is not your first language.
